We have recently adapted our database monitoring software, Monocle, to include data collection and monitoring for SQL Server, giving our team of DBAs and engineers a single platform for monitoring and analyzing data across Oracle, MySQL, and now SQL Server. This not only makes us more efficient and quicker to respond to issues, but allows us to correlate statistics across our customers’ entire enterprise – illuminating trends that would otherwise have gone unnoticed.
Our SQL Server People
Mark Hammingh came to Blue Gecko in 2008. One of our most well-rounded and versatile DBAs, Mark came to Blue Gecko from Drugstore.com and brings a background in both Oracle and SQL Server. Mark has more than 15 years of IT experience including SQL Server administration and development.
