Oracle Database Hosting on AWS

Get Oracle Database hosting on your Amazon Web Services account. AWS is the first cloud vendor with whom Oracle has partnered.  Oracle supports deploying Oracle Database, Middleware and Enterprise Manager products on Amazon EC2 platform, and provides licensing guidelines for purchasing new or migrating existing licensing to the cloud.

Oracle also supports RMAN backups to Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) as part of the Oracle Secure Backup Cloud Module.  Oracle Database backup to S3 may be used either inside the cloud while running Oracle on EC2, or outside the cloud for securely streaming database backups directly to S3 via the Internet.
