Blue Gecko is Database Management Company founded in 2001 specializing in remote Systems and Database Administration with practices in both Oracle and MySQL Database Administration.  The Management team met in operational support at Amazon.com and saw opportunities to improve both the customer support and work environment for Enterprise IT consumers.  Their combined experience is 40+ years in the IT industry working and consulting in both large and small scale IT operations. Past work experience includes Oracle Corporation, McCaw Wireless/Cingular/AT&T, and Amazon. 

 
The nascent industry of Managed Services seemed an ideal fit to take this love of technology and bring enterprise support to the mid-size company as their systems and databases naturally grow more complex.  As this industry has grown and more conventional companies join the early adopters, so has Blue Gecko.  We have more than 60 companies for whom we provide remote and hosted Server and Database Administration.
